Jellies for me are special sweet treats for special sweet memories.

Growing up about over 40 years ago sweets were very rare treats for me. My mother did not have them in the house. SO my memories are from having something like a sour lemon sweet “Napoleon” at the neighbour’s or when we were travelling in the car all the way to France on holidays.

So when we recreated these “healthy” Jellies that is when these memories came! Very special!

Adding gelatine has so many health benefits if you choose the right gelatine from grass-fed cows. Gelatine is made from the bones, so healthy animals give nourishing gelatine.
And as Turmeric is so advocated as anti-inflammatory, why not add this to the lemon honey mix, as you do with your lemon hottie when you have a cold!

Very easy to make, you can adjust the amount of honey if they are to sour for you, but my 8 year old loved them like this!
