It’s no secret the French create seriously delicious pastry and cheese. This year there’s no need to cross international borders to taste it; you can make it for yourself at Farmhouse Kitchen.
Sarah Jhean from Mademoiselle Patisserie will be leading the workshop, making Brioche while showing you in the ins and outs on how to do it yourself, including kneading and folding. Sarah will demonstrate plaiting techniques and how to expand your Brioche repertoire by filling it with custard.
Pauline will join in on the action, whipping up Chèvre in the workshop style and helping you in the process of making your own.
After all the fun of the workshop is done and dusted, reward your efforts with a glass of Te Mata Winery wine and a French lunch – Pâté de Champagne, Sweet Onion Goats Cheese Tartlet and a Brioche Dessert (toppings of your choice!), plus French Vegetables Salad.
You’ll be taking home a paper tray with Brioche you have had a hand in making, plus your homemade Goats Chèvre and a recipe booklet.
